Terms of Use

These are the house rules for playing "Ashen Siege" (the game), made by Ashen Siege ("we"). By signing in you agree to them. If you got the game from the App Store, Apple's standard licence agreement for apps (the Licensed Application End User License Agreement) applies as well.

1. Your account

  • You sign in with Apple or Google. One account is for one person.
  • Keep your Apple or Google sign-in safe; you are responsible for keeping your account safe.
  • Pick a player name that is not offensive or hateful and does not pretend to be someone else. We may change or reset a name that breaks this rule.

2. Play fair

Every match should be won by playing well. So please do not:

  • cheat, use bugs or exploits, or share them;
  • use bots, scripts or other automation in online matches;
  • trade wins with another account, or use a new account to get around a ban;
  • send forged or flooding requests, or try to break into the game or other players' accounts;
  • insult, harass or threaten other players.

3. If the rules are broken

Online matches are decided by our server, which also watches for cheating. Depending on what happened, we may pause your online matches, block your connection for a while, or ban the account for a set time or, in serious or repeated cases, for good. The Privacy Policy explains what data this uses.

If you think we got it wrong, send an appeal from the ban screen in the game or write to [email protected]; a person reads every appeal.

4. Opponents in online matches

To keep waiting times short, some opponents in online matches may be computer-controlled. These matches count like any other online match.

5. Coins, gems and items

  • Coins, gems, heroes, ranks and other items are part of the game. They have no cash value and cannot be sold, traded, moved to another account or exchanged for money.
  • Gems never expire. Gem packs and cosmetic sets are one-time purchases through the App Store or Google Play.
  • We may change game balance, prices and rewards over time.

Refunds. If Apple or Google refunds or reverses a purchase, what it gave you goes back with it:

  • a gem pack: its gems, also ones already spent;
  • a cosmetic set: the items it added;
  • a pass month: the coins and gems it paid (coins already spent count as gems), a hero it unlocked stays locked until you subscribe again, and the extra trophies the Mission Pass gave on ranked wins that month are taken back (your league follows your trophies).

This can bring your gem balance below zero. Meanwhile you can keep playing and earning and spending coins; you just can't spend gems until the balance is back above zero, and gems you buy fill the gap first. If the store cancels the refund, you get it all back. We may look at accounts with many refunds. All of this applies except where the law says otherwise.

6. Subscriptions

Mission Pass premium and the Daily Pass are optional monthly subscriptions. What each includes and its price are shown in the game before you buy.

  • It is paid through your App Store or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.
  • It renews every month at the price shown, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
  • You can cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Premium then stays until the end of the period you paid for.
  • Deleting your game account does not cancel a subscription, so cancel it in the store as well.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own rules. If a subscription is refunded, premium ends at once, pass rewards not yet received are dropped, and what the refunded month paid goes back as section 5 says.

7. Keeping the game running

We work hard to keep the game online, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of bugs, for example during maintenance. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage or lost profits. Nothing here limits rights you have by law that cannot be limited.

8. Stopping and account closure

You can stop playing any time and delete your account in Settings > Account > Delete my account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or when the law requires it. If we ever shut the game down, we will try to tell you in advance.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We publish the new version here with a new effective date and tell you in the game when a change matters. If you keep playing after that, the new terms apply.

10. Age and governing law

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and play online.

Governing law and courts: the laws of the Republic of Türkiye; courts of Istanbul. Mandatory consumer rights where you live are not affected.
